About my garden

This blog starts in one garden and then moves to a new location in June 2015. We wanted a new start in the country and more space. Growing things is my reason for being and I have enough space here to indulge it to the extreme and in the long term I hope to turn it into a business.
We have inherited a garden and a large uncultivated area which is grass/meadow/weeds. I hope to turn it into a vegetable garden, cutting patch and flower and shrub borders. We are also planning a barrier of trees and shrubs between us an the rather busy road and a hedge of native species. Some of the meadow will be left. I'm calling it a meadow as it has many species of wild flowers already growing.
